- JohnUpdate for February
Hamilton Real Estate continued to recover during February with 308 house sales being recorded in the city by the REINZ. The median sale price remained subdued at $352,000 reflecting the surge of first home buyers and investors into the market. The number of houses available for sale as advertised on realestate.co.nz plummeted to 788 by the end of February from 971 at the end of November. The increased demand and lower availability of houses to sell makes it a terrific time for people who are selling. Prices at auction reflect the strength in the Hamilton market.
